Any parent knows how easy it is to rack up a huge bill shopping at Target. Even if you swear you’ll stick to your list of essentials, you’re bound to stray from it the minute you see the newest collection from Cat & Jack or the BOGO book deals. But if you keep a close eye on Target deals, as we do here at What to Expect, then you know there’s almost always a way to save. Right now, for instance, you can get a $20 Target gift card while stocking up on the baby supplies that you need anyways.
From now until Saturday, August 26, you can earn a $20 Target gift card when you spend $100 or more on diapers, wipes and training pantsOpens a new window from some of the best diaper brands, including:

If you’re wondering whether you’ll be able to spend $100 on diapering supplies the answer is yes. I just submitted my order — three boxes of my daughter’s current diaper size, one box each of her next two sizes and a box of wipes. Now, I don’t have to worry about buying diapers for a few months and I have $20 to spend on the upcoming Britney Spears memoirOpens a new window. (Yes, I’m using the gift card to treat myself. And you should too!) Just note that the “gift card” is actually a promotional credit that will be applied to your Target account.
As with any special promotion, there are a few things to note. First, the offer only applies to in-store purchases, online pickups, or same-day delivery via Shipt. Second, you can only earn one gift card per guest transaction; buying $200 worth of diapers won’t earn you two gift cards. Finally, if you return any of the diapering essentials, you will be refunded the amount of your purchase minus $20. So please, don’t try to pull a fast one on Target — you won’t win.
