With an easy method and a delicious taste, this easy Fruit Pizza is such a fun dessert to share with the kids. It’s the best of all worlds with a sugar cookie crust, cream cheese frosting, and fresh fruit on top!

I have long had go-to family desserts that I rely on for birthdays and holidays, but my kids recently saw fruit pizza at a party and have not stopped asking me to make it for them. And thankfully, this recipe is easy to make and assemble, it’s versatile in that you can use whichever fruit you have on hand and prefer, and it’s so delicious.

You can also make the crust and the cream cheese frosting layer ahead of time and assemble it right when you need it if that works better with your schedule.

Read below for the full information on how to make this Easy Fruit Pizza to share with the kids, whether for Easter, a Mother’s Day brunch, Fourth of July, or another special day!

    Ingredients You Need

Here’s a look at the ingredients you need to make this Easy Fruit Pizza so you know what to have on hand before you start the recipe.

Ingredients for fruit pizza on countertop.
    • Sugar cookie dough: You can use purchased sugar cookie dough to save a step in this recipe or you can make my Healthy Sugar Cookie recipe and use that for the base. They work similarly!
    • Cream cheese: Plain regular cream cheese forms the base of the frosting recipe. It is easiest to blend when it is at room temperature, so plan to let it sit out for about an hour before starting to mix it.
    • Butter: I like to add unsalted butter to my cream cheese frosting so we need that to make this recipe. (If you only have salted butter, that is fine.)
    • Honey: A little honey sweetens the cream cheese frosting and enhances the flavor. If you prefer, you can use maple syrup or powdered sugar.
    • Vanilla: A little vanilla extract adds nice flavor to the frosting layer of this easy fruit pizza.
    • Sliced fruit: You can use strawberries, blueberries, kiwi, mango, mandarin oranges, and/or raspberries to top the sweet pizza.
