Lululemon Maternity Legging Special 2023 — Lululemon Align High-Rise Leggings

    • What is it? Lululemon’s Align High-Rise Pant

    • Why parents love it: Moms-to-be say the soft, buttery leggings grow with your belly without stretching out, so you can wear them after your baby is born.

    • How much is it? $69-$89 (normally $118)

    • Where to buy it: LululemonOpens a new window

For many moms-to-be, leggings are an essential part of their maternity wardrobe. But you may be hesitant to spend money on maternity leggings which, in theory, can only be worn for nine months and shortly postpartum. Enter the Lululemon’s Align High-Rise PantOpens a new window. Moms in the BabyCenter community love these leggings and consider them a favorite non-maternity item that you can wear before, during and after your pregnancy.

These high-rise pants are normally a splurge at $118, but Lululemon is currently having a special in which the leggings are as low as $69. Made of a soft and breathable Nulu fabric, the high-rise pants feel like butter on your skin. They also have a lot of stretch, which is crucial when your body is constantly changing. “They worked with my growing bump, never felt too tight and helped me continue working out,” mom Cassie Shortsleeve says of the Lululemon leggings. “I quickly picked up two more pairs in one size up from my pre-pregnancy size.”

And she’s not the only one who considers these leggings a pregnancy staple.

“I have literally 12 pairs… they’re the best, I’ve worn them for all three pregnancies, I wear my usual size 6, I have a couple pairs of 8 bc I preferred a color but don’t see a noticeable difference, I’m able to wear before during and after (caveat, I don’t get that big pregnant – don’t really show until the 3rd trimester). Worth every penny, love them!”

“I have three pairs of aligns that I purchased over the last few years, and honestly, they have been a BLESSING during this pregnancy. I’m currently 28 weeks, and they still fit perfectly. They provide the perfect amount of support! I definitely recommend.”

“They’re the only thing I bought for maternity clothes and I absolutely love them.. Very comfortable and I plan on wearing them postpartum, too.”

“I have worn the same size 4 lulu pants before, during and after 2 pregnancies. I never size up and they never stretch out even wearing till the end – such good quality.”

“Lululemon pants are extremely versatile and can grow with with you. They’ll also keep their shape once you no longer have a belly. I have been wearing the align pants almost everyday now (considering these are the only things that’s fitting me these days).”

“I love the aligns they’re the only leggings I can stand. I wear my same size currently at 17 weeks as I did pre pregnancy (size 6). They do pill though so wash on delicate separately and hang dry!!”

“I own 7 pairs and I wouldn’t trade them for anything.”

“Worth it! Bought a pair with my first in 2018 and still wear them regularly. Wore them through my whole pregnancy and will continue throughout this one! I just bought my regular size and they stretched with me all the way past my due date. I bought a second pair a few years ago when I started to wfh. Only complaint is that they pill so avoid drying or use a garment bag. Definitely the most expensive thing I wear but worth every single penny.”

Many reviewers recommend sizing up for maximum comfort during pregnancy. Several also note that the leggings tend to pill if run through the dryer, and suggest hanging them to dry as a solution.

The leggings are available in sizes 0 to 20 and in more than 40 color options. As previously noted, the leggings are currently part of Lululemon’s “We Made Too Much” promotion. Two things to keep in mind if you shop the speicla. First, the price will vary based on the color you choose. (Though even at $69, it’s a great find.) Second, not every color comes in every size, so your options may be limited. But if you’re not picky about color and in need of comfortable maternity leggings, then you’ll want to snap up a pair (or two) of Lululemon’s Align High-Rise Pant before they sell out.
