Kaitlyn Teen Summary: 18.25 Years Old

18.25 year old teen girl information and helps. See all about her daily life as a teen girl and get the teen schedule. Talking about getting ready for college and graduating high school.

This is a summary for Kaitlyn from 18-18.25 years old. This will be Kaitlyn’s last summary since she has graduated and is moving on with life!

    EAT AND SLEEP

Sleep was not so great at the end of senior year as there were many late nights and school still started at the same time as always. It got better after graduation and things settled down. Food is good. She is super interested in nutrition and how that affects your body.

    SCHOOL

School was good! In the end, she graduated with a 4.0 and was a valedictorian. She completed all of her gen eds for college other than one class and also many classes for her major. She will start college as a technical Sophomore. She also graduated from seminary. Somehow someone convinced her to sing at Seminary graduation. Most of her friends had never heard her sing, so they were shocked when she got up and sang like she does. She just doesn’t like to perform in front of people. Last year, McKenna sent in a video to American Idol (unknown to Kaitlyn) and they invited her to a callback (which she refused to do). I am glad she never aspired to be famous because that is very clearly a very hard life for everyone, especially youth. I am glad when she shares her talent locally, though.

    WORK

Work has been good. She really likes her job, her boss, and her coworkers. She plans to keep the job and work there in college, also. I haven’t ever met her boss, but from what I hear, he is a great boss. I have told her that is worth a whole lot! She has been working really hard and as many hours as possible so she can be set up well for college.

She continued her voice lessons and piano lessons until summer and then stopped both. She is not going to continue lessons right now. I think that is smart for the first year of college as she gets used to college and learns her capacity there. Kaitlyn did a senior recital where she played a bunch of songs she has learned as well as original pieces.

    COLLEGE

Nate made a budget for Kaitlyn in Google Sheets so she can easily see what money she needs for everything. Some things are fixed, like her rent, and others are estimates, like groceries. This has helped her focus in on saving for school. She has enough in scholarships to pay for tuition and such, but rent is very expensive in college just like everywhere else in the world right now.

Brayden has come home from his mission (yay!) and they will both be going to the same university. They will live close to each other, but not in the same apartment complex. They are taking English 2020 together as it is the last gen ed they both need to take and are not doing the same major. So that will be fun for them. It is kind of weird to have Kaitlyn doing something for the first time (along side Brayden). It is a new spot for her as a second born.

    TRIPS

She had quite a few trips during this time period. She did a couple of trips with friends. Our family also did an Alaskan cruise. That was a lot of fun!

    DAILY SCHEDULE

Here is a typical school schedule:

6:30 AM Get up and get ready for school
    7:30 AM Go to school
After School Gym, Work, Friends, Dinner, Go to School Events….
10-11 PM Go to Bed* (but not all days)
