Kaitlyn Teen Summary: 17.75 Years Old

17.75 year old teen girl information and helps. See all about her daily life as a teen girl and get the teen schedule. Talking about college thoughts and senior year activities.

This is a summary for Kaitlyn from 17.5-17.75 years old.

    EAT AND SLEEP

Something I find fascinating is that Kaitlyn loves to make rescipes from Instagram. I find that fascinating because I see those reels and think, “Who can make something from that 30 second video?” but she does it. It is just unique to see your kids grow up and do things so differently from you–it can definitely make you feel old!

Sleep is good. Once the weather got colder here, she and her friends stopped feeling like they needed to hang out late every night and live every moment of senior year awake. So she is back to her typical sleep habits.

    SCHOOL

School is going really well. She is doing great in all of her classes including her college classes. She should have two years worth of college credits done by the time she graduates high school.

It is interesting to watch a senior go through senior year. I don’t know if it is winter weather here or what, but right around January, kids start to feel pretty done with high school and ready to move on with the next big stage of life. I remember Brayden feeling this way and me saying, “Oh yes. I should have told you that Junior Year is kind of the most fun one of high school.”

I think by January of senior year, most people know what they are doing next and feel really excited about taking that next HUGE step in life. They look forward to graduating and growing up quite a bit.

    COLLEGE

Kaitlyn has decided on a college and has a scholarship to go there. We took her and her best friend around and looked at potential housing options. Applications are not open for that yet, so now they just hope that they get in where they want to go.

It was also a good wake up call for college being real. It made them both more excited to graduate and go to school. It also made Kaitlyn think more about money and making sure she has what she needs to pay for it all.

Kaitlyn is still taking piano lessons and voice lessons. She also goes to the gym regularly. This isn’t really extracurricular but she has a job she does each day. It isn’t a lot, but it helps out. She is saving up to buy a car. She is also applying to work at other places to make some more money. Brayden made a lot of money buy reffing soccer, but Kaitlyn does NOT like reffing. The parents are difficult to deal with unfortuantely. Brayden can handle that but Kaitlyn doesn’t like to.

    DAILY SCHEDULE

    Here is a typical schedule:

6:30 AM Get up and get ready for school
    7:30 AM Go to school
After School Gym, Work, Friends, Dinner, Go to School Events….
    10-11 PM Go to Bed
