    When peaches are in season in the summer, we can’t get enough and eat them fresh and in a range of recipes. The ones below are our favorites, and they work for babies and toddlers on up through adults.

    This recipe for canning peaches in a simple honey syrup is, hands down, my favorite way to preserve peaches.

    To make these delicious canned peaches, you’ll need a big pot, pint-size mason jars (wide or regular mouth, though wide mouth is a little easier), new lids, bands, and a jar lifter. Look in the canning section of your market for supplies if you don’t already have them.

    These muffins, which are extra fluffy from yogurt, are tender and so flavorful.

    • Try different varieties of peaches for different flavors, including white peaches, yellow peaches, and Colorado peaches, which are some of the most flavorful around.
