“My son only seems to want snacks, which means that he will pick at his dinner and then demand all of the snacks before bed. I know he needs to eat, but this means bedtime takes twice as long. How can I shift his intake to a better time?” —Mary, mom of 3.
Okay, I’m tackling this question first because it is the story of my life right now too and it is sssoooooo hard to navigate. But here is what I’ve learned and am doing to make this issue a little less stressful in my house.
