Are you ready to kick your breastfeeding journey up a notch? As a busy mom on the go, finding the perfect breast pump can be a game-changer. That’s why I’m super excited to share all about two fantastic products: the Elvie Pump and the Elvie Stride Pump.

In this article, we’ll dive into the world of Elvie, comparing the Elvie Stride vs Elvie Pump, to help you find the ideal fit for your pumping needs. Get ready to pump in style and stride confidently through your day as we explore these amazing options!

    What is the Elvie Stride?

    elvie stride

The Elvie Stride is a hospital-grade hands-free pump that uses a unique combination of suction and compression to express milk quickly and efficiently. This pump is designed to be worn around the waist and is lightweight and discreet, making it ideal for mothers who need to pump on the go.

The pump has five different suction levels and is designed to be comfortable and easy to use. The pump also features a timer to help mothers track their pumping sessions and a battery indicator to let them know when the battery is running low.

    What is the Elvie Pump?

    elvie pump

The Elvie Pump is the smallest wearable electric breast pump. It is designed to help you pump milk quickly, efficiently, and discreetly. This pump features a unique design that makes it easy to use, with a comfortable and adjustable flange that helps to create a seal around the breast. The pump has seven different suction levels, allowing mothers to customize the suction to their needs.

The pump is also designed to be quiet and discreet, making it ideal for mothers who need to pump in public or private. The pump, either a single or Elvie double pump, comes with an app that provides real-time feedback and guidance.

Elvie Stride vs Elvie Pump: The Similarities

The Elvie Stride and the Elvie Pump are two of the most innovative breast pumps on the market. Both pumps are designed to provide a comfortable and convenient experience for nursing mothers, making them popular choices for busy moms.

But what are the similarities between these two pumps? Let’s take a closer look.

    Design and Comfort

One of the most apparent similarities between the Elvie Stride Pump and the Original Elvie Pump is their design. Both pumps feature a unique design that allows them to be worn discreetly and comfortably, even while mothers are on the go.

The pumps are made with soft, lightweight fabric that is breathable and comfortable against the skin. Additionally, both pumps feature adjustable straps to provide a secure and personalized fit.

    Performance and Connectivity

Another similarity between the two pumps is their performance. Both pumps are designed to provide powerful suction and quick, efficient pumping, making them ideal for busy moms. They have a long battery life of close to three hours.

Additionally, both pumps can be connected to the Elvie app, which allows mothers to track their pumping progress and set reminders for pumping sessions.

    Innovation

The Elvie Stride and the Elvie Pump are designed with innovation. Both pumps feature an adjustable suction strength and an innovative closed-system electric design that prevents milk from entering the pump’s motor. This closed system design also makes the pumps easier to clean and maintain.

    Ease of Use

Elvie Stride and Elvie Pump are both designed to be easy to use. Both products come with an intuitive user interface that allows users to track their progress and access helpful tips and advice. The products are also designed to be comfortable so that users can use them for extended periods without discomfort.

    Durability

Both Elvie Stride and Elvie Pump are designed to be durable and long-lasting. The products are made with high-quality materials that withstand everyday wear and tear. This ensures that users can rely on their Elvie products for years.

    Cleaning is simple

Because Elvie is dedicated to creating femtech that gives women the most convenience possible, both the Elvie Pump and the Elvie Stride have roughly five pieces you must clean. They are safe and easy to clean by hand in the dishwasher.

Elvie Stride vs Elvie Pump: The Differences

As much as these breast pumps have almost similar stimulation and expression modes, they still have fundamental differences.

    Their differences include:

    Discretion

Although both pumps contain noise-reduction technology, the Elvie Pump’s unique technology ensures that the pumping process is virtually noise-free. So even though the Elvie Stride has noise-reduction technology, it still has a low buzz, whereas the original Elvie pump has no noise making it easier to pump anywhere.

    Tubing

Unlike the Elvie Stride, which contains tubes that avoid tangling and link the pump with the hub, the Elvie Pump does not require any tubes.

The Elvie Pump is a tubeless and cordless device, with each side supplied with its motor.

The Elvie Stride only has one pump motor, quietly connected to the collection cups through tubes.

    Suction strength

Compared to the original Elvie Pump, which has a maximum suction strength of 220mmHg, the Elvie Stride has a hospital-grade pump with a full suction strength of 300mmHg. This means you can breast pump the Elvie stride at a higher suction level than its competition.

    Personalization

The Elvie Stride allows you to personalize your pumping regimen to your unique demands. It includes ten intensity levels and both stimulation and expression modes, giving you 20 options, whereas the Elvie Pump only has fourteen.

    Pricing

The Elvie Stride is more affordable than the Elvie Pump (which may not be covered by insurance), making it a more cost-effective option for many mothers.

    Comfort

The Elvie Stride is designed to be lightweight and discreet, making it ideal for mothers on the go.

In contrast, the Elvie Pump is designed to be comfortable and adjustable, allowing mothers to customize the suction to their needs.

Elvie stride vs Elvie pump – Which is Better?

When choosing between the Elvie Stride and Elvie Pump, both pumps offer unique advantages that make them appealing to different mothers. The Elvie Stride is lightweight and discreet, making it ideal for mothers who need to pump on the go. In contrast, the Elvie Pump is designed to be comfortable and adjustable, allowing mothers to customize the suction to their needs.

Additionally, the Elvie Stride is more affordable than the Elvie Pump, making it a more cost-effective option for many mothers. Ultimately, the best choice for each mother will depend on her individual needs and preferences, but both pumps offer unique advantages that make them appealing to different mothers.

However, my personal choice would be the Elvie Pump Original! I like the fact that it’s silent and can be worn so discreetly under my clothes. I never particularly needed hospital-grade suction, but I do know many moms who do and in that case, I would lean toward the Elvie Stride.
