Daily life and schedule for a 13-year-old tween who was raised on Babywise. See her daily life, the activities she is involved in, and her daily routine.
This is a summary for Brinley from 12.75 to 13 years old.
SLEEPING and EATING
There was a point during this time when Brinley started losing a lot of hair. As I have shared, she has a lot of foods she didn’t love. We determined her hair loss was due to lack of nutrition. She started eating a large variety of foods, including foods she doesn’t like, and her hair has stopped falling out. We also added a daily multi-vitamin.
Something interesting is that Brinley has never been one to sleep in. Brayden was the same way and never got to be a sleep in person even as a teen. This summer, Brinely has started to sleep in many days.
SCHOOL
School finished well. She really enjoyed school and was actually sad for summer because she would miss seeing her friends every day.
ACTIVITIES
During this period, she finished her soccer season, had a piano recital, and had a soccer tournament. She has enjoyed soccer and is enjoying playing the piano. She loves the Zelda video games, so we found a Zelda piano book for her to play from this summer. That helps motivate her to practice more intensely.
ANIMAL LOVER
Brinley absolutely loves animals, especially our dog Ginny. She just loves them all and takes good care of them.
SUMMER
She has had a lot of fun this summer. She and her friends have often gone to the pool together. Brayden came home from his mission. She has loved that. We have enjoyed riding wave runners as a family. We also had a big family trip on an Alaskan Cruise.
During the summer, I add extra chores for the kids since they are home more. It helps keep them busy.
ALASKAN CRUISE
Soon after Brayden got home, we went on an Alaskan Cruise. This was a lot of fun with a lot of beautiful scenery. Something I love about a cruise is the lack of wifi (I do not purchase it intentionally). It makes for a lot more interaction and family time.
