This is the latest on Kaitlyn from 15.75-16 years old. Kaitlyn is now 16 years old!
Of course one of the biggest milestones at 16 is being able to drive. It is wonderful to have another driver! It helps so much for her to be able to drive herself AND her sisters places.

SOCCER
Soccer is a big part of her life. She loves to play and has a great team. They had a couple of winter tournaments. They took first place at two tournaments, including one that qualifies them for a regional tournament this summer.
They also did an indoor winter tournament where they took first place (McKenna’s team took second).
The spring season is underway, but started a month late due to a very long winter here.
PIANO
Kaitlyn loves to play the piano and spends a lot of time doing it. I think it can be really therapeutic to her. She has also started playing the organ in church.
SCHOOL
School is good! She is doing well in school.
WORK
Kaitlyn has a few ways she works to make money. She works for my mom on her farm. She cleans stalls, feeds animals, and grooms animals (among other things).
She also grooms dogs.
She also refs soccer.
Even with all of those methods, she is considering getting a part-time job at a company.
I love the three methods she has because she can work them around her schedule and activities. When you work for a company, you have to work when they tell you to.
There is also a complication with her not having a car that is just for her use. So having job with little to no control over when you work would make it hard with cars. That will not be an issue for long as Brayden is close to graduating and moving out.
BRACES
She still has her braces. This is a challenge. It has been almost 3 years! She is close and hoping for an official end date soon.
DAILY SCHEDULE
6:00 AM Get up and get ready for school
7:30 AM Leave to go to school. Soccer practice is after school.
4:30 PM Get home from school
5:30 PM Dinner (typically)
10:00 PM Time to turn in devices and go to bed (if she hasn’t already)
