Learn the easiest way to make Pudding Pops to share with the kids. Find options for using store-bought pudding or homemade—in chocolate, vanilla, or banana—so you can customize it to your preferences.

Throughout the year, I keep my freezer stocked with popsicles of all kinds—from Strawberry Popsicles to Ice Pops, Fruit Popsicles, and Fudge Pops—because they are such an easy snack or dessert to share with the kids. And I love that I can control the ingredients when I make easy popsicle recipes at home.

And for those times when I want something a little more indulgent and seriously easy, I turn to these pudding pops.

All you need to make these creamy popsicles—in chocolate, vanilla, banana, or a combination of the flavors—is prepared pudding. You can make it at home or pick up prepared pudding at the store. There are lots of options to make this dessert in minutes!

    Frequently Asked Questions

What’s the key to creamy Pudding Pops?

If you use store-bought pudding you are almost guaranteed to have super creamy popsicles since there is very little water content that could make an icy popsicle. With homemade pudding recipes, the thicker and less water content the better.

If you make Pudding Pops and they are icy when you go to eat them, simply let them sit at room temperature for a little longer so they soften up. As the ice crystals start to melt, the overall texture will feel much creamier.

    How to Store

Keep pops frozen in a freezer bag for up to 6 months. Serve very cold.
