McKenna Teen Summary: 15.75 Years Old

Daily life and schedule for a 15.75 year old teen girl. Learn about common concerns that come up with the teenage group. This covers 15.5 years old through 15.75 years old. Read about learning to make food, sports, injuries, and more.

This is a summary for McKenna from 15.5 years old to 15.75 years old.

    SLEEP

Sleep is all good here. Nothing big or different. She loves to sleep.

    EAT

McKenna is continuing to slowing add to what she is able to cook. She is a very good cookie baker and is often making delicious cookies from Cooking with Karli. Baking is definitely her favorite type of cooking.

    SCHOOL

School is all good. She is doing well in her classes. A fun thing right now is she is taking driver’s ed as she prepares to get her driver’s license once she turns 16!

    ORGANIZER

McKenna loves to organize and deep clean. She cleans really well and thoroughly. At least once a month, she removes everything from her closet and puts it all back, decluttering as she goes. She is very liberal with getting rid of things.

This is funny in a way because when she was much younger, she cried when we had to get a new refrigerator because she would miss the old one. It is quite the change.

    SOCCER

High school soccer ended very well for her high school–they won State! That was a fun time.

    WRESTLING and INJURIES

McKenna decided to try wrestling this year. She had a few practices and at her first meet, she got a serious injury. She was then out for the season. That was no fun at all. She really looked really good in that first match. She must have something she needs to learn from being injured. It is very disappointing. frustrating, painful…all the things.

She was in a sling for a while and is now in physical therapy twice a week.

    PIANO

Fortunately, she had her piano recital a few days before her injury, so she was able to play in her recital. She did a great job. Once she was injured, she just focused on learning songs with her right hand.

    SCHEDULE

Here is a typical day in school with wrestling. She still went to practices–very early in the morning.

5:00 AM – Get up and get ready
5:30 AM – Go to school
3:00 PM – Get home from school
Evening activities include dinner, piano, chores, activities, and/or wrestling meets
    10:00 PM – In bed
