Although there’s still plenty to enjoy during the summer, fall will be here before we know it. To ensure that your children are prepared for the upcoming school year, enroll them in the right program at your local Horizon center. Enrollment opens July 8th!

    Infant Care

If you’ve got a new addition to your family, Horizon Education Centers offers quality infant care for little ones aged six weeks through 18 months. Designed to provide a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment, your infant will receive personalized attention from a dedicated team of caregivers with developmentally appropriate activities. Our creative curriculum helps to build strong foundations for your baby while you enjoy peace of mind, knowing that we’re offering opportunities for growth and exploration that include early learning and socialization.

    Toddler Care

Youngsters aged 18-36 months can benefit from our excellent toddler care programs that provide multiple educational and social activities. Our milestone-based curriculum follows the Ohio Early Learning and Development standards and Ohio Core Learning Standards. The innovative curriculum emphasizes learning and development through peer interaction and social and verbal development as well as participation in arts and crafts, large motor activities both indoor and out, and more. Toddlers have access to age-appropriate building blocks, toys, and more, and caregivers focus on literacy skills, language development, and numbers for preschool readiness.

    Preschool Programs

Children ages three through five will receive dependable care and quality education to prepare them for kindergarten. Horizon Education Centers provides preschool programs that follow the nationally recognized Teaching Strategies Creative Curriculum Gold. This curriculum focuses on exploration and discovery learning in small and large groups, encouraging social, emotional, and physical development. Our dedicated caregivers also recognize how important individual growth is in preschoolers, supporting them as they interact and grow at their own pace. They provide creative experiences to enrich them as they travel on their own unique path.

    School-Aged Programs

When you need before- and after-school care for your children in kindergarten through eighth grade (aged five through fourteen), Horizon’s school-aged programs are ideal. Plus, full-day programs are available when school isn’t in session. Children benefit from STEM exploration, small group games, arts and crafts, and so forth, along with physical activities that contribute to wellness. Qualified teachers and staff are available as your child completes homework assignments, offering both homework help and tutoring.

    Horizon Education Centers: Locations

Our programs are open year-round at 13 convenient locations in western Cuyahoga County and Lorain County. You can enter your zip code to find the best location for your needs with each of our centers open from 6:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, with afterschool hours varying by location.

Our facilities contain age-specific playgrounds, extensive spaces for gross motor activities, indoor greenhouses, and more—and, with more than 45 years of experience, we have the expertise needed to care for your child with their health and safety front of mind.

Get ready for fall so you can get on with the rest of your summer. Schedule a tour today, and mark your calendar for registration Monday, July 8!
