At school, you’ll have the opportunity to be creative. You might draw pictures, paint, build things, and make crafts. Getting to be creative is a great way to express yourself and have fun.
Making new friends
In addition to seeing your old friends at school, you’ll also have the chance to make new friends. You’ll meet new people from different backgrounds and with different interests. Making new friends can help you learn more about the world around you.
Here are some tips for making the first day a positive experience for your young child:
- Talk to your child about what they’re looking forward to in the new school year. This will help them get excited about going back to school.
- Help your child prepare for the new school year by buying new school supplies and clothes. This will help them feel confident and ready to learn.
- Visit the school with your child before the first day of school. This will help them get familiar with their new surroundings and meet their teacher.
- Be patient and understanding on the first day of school. It may take time for your child to adjust to the new routine.
